Approvals and Memberships

If you are exploring the idea of professional massage therapy training, it's important to make sure that the schools you're considering have been accredited by one or more of the United States Department of Education approved accrediting agencies. Accreditation is the review process that accreding agencies use to scrutinize educational programs for quality assurance and improvement.

Cortiva Institute - Chicago School of Massage Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation. We're also an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association's Council of Schools. www.amtamassage.org

All our faculty members who teach massage are Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) and licensed to practice massage therapy in the state of Illinois.

What does this all mean? It means you're in good hands here. We will prepare you for a rewarding career in massage therapy and will be around to offer career support long after you graduate.

If you'd like to learn more about accreditation, visit COMTA's website. www.comta.org .
